Artist Statement

I’m drawn to the moments people don’t realize they’re part of when expression softens and something real comes through. My work focuses on those in-between spaces, where a glance or gesture reveals more than intention.

Influenced by Nan Goldin, I photograph what unfolds around me without interruption. See Me is an ongoing, lifelong series that reflects the quiet tension of being present but unnoticed, capturing people as they move through their own worlds.

The title holds a simple contradiction: to be seen and unseen at the same time. The work asks for a slower look at the image, and at the moments we usually pass by.
